The opening scene starts off with Daniel Craig narrating the scene guiding us through his drug dealing career and explaining how drugs "Have change everything". While this narration is going on the scene cuts to different scenarios, one to a gang of armed criminals robbing a bank, to a group of hippies smoking cannabis, and then the scene cuts to Daniel Craig walking down the street to his flat while the narration is still taking place. (This use of narration inspired me to use it in my film 'The Hit') Gentle music silently kicks in when he enters his flat, then quickly cuts to a closed shot of his team in his drug business. The narration tells the audience why each individual in his team are special to his business, whether its brains or muscle. This is very detailed narration , this could be to show that Daniel Craig's character knows what he is doing, or to emphasizes how extremely organized he is.
